Joyce Chen , 5-Piece Flared Teapot Set, Antique Gold

This tea set is smaller than it appears in the photo. That would have been fine because it was a gift to my daughter and she is the one who picked it out. But, it arrived broken and when I went to return it, the seller only allowed for approx $7 for return shipping because that is what they estimated it would cost. I used the same package, changed nothing and the shipping was more than $10 so I actually lost money on this product.

Gave this to my bf as a christmas gift and he loves it. We use it on the stove and doesn't seem to do damage. After about three months of it appeard to be cracking but it wasn't. It kind of got a new design in a way. We love and still use it to this day.

Reading the description made me excited that it would be a great item to drink tea out of however the angled corners of the cups make it pretty awkward. Also the cups are very very small

The first shipment contained a broken mug. I was open to have just a mug replacement but they wanted to send another set. Again it contained a broken mug. I returned it again and realized that it would of been only a matter of time until it would be breaking. Too fragile.

What a shame! I was really excited & put a lot of time into looking for a nice, cute, & useful teapot. Don't buy this one. Three of the four teacups arrived broken in some way/shape/or form & the thatching on the handles was also loose...bummer

The style is incredible! I will be looking for more Joyce Chen in the future! This is an awesome addition to my collection.
