The clip is very sturdy and does just what you would want -- it is after all designed like a regular pen cap clip, so that makes sense. The idea of a cap is ideal, and I haven't seen others. The only disadvantage is that when you go to move the cap from tip to top, you have to remove and move the charger-protector. This is mainly because Apple's design leaves something to be desired, but still an inconvenience that means you could lose that little cap in transition. Otherwise, this is a great tip protector, easy to use, and an excellent clip that also keeps your pencil from rolling.
