Exodus have been on the metal scene, since the early 80's. they been thrashing before many of the new bands were not even born. With that being said, if you a metal head and you do not have a complete selection of this band, then you need to think twice. This album generates speed with unbelievable drums and screaming voice that expresses anger. You must have this album, is just plain and simple. Raze is my favorite song. It reminds me of early Exodus songs from the Bonded By Blood album.

Me being a huge Slayer fan and knowing both Holt and Bostaph are associated with Exodus I thought to myself "Why the heck not?" I wanted to see what Gary is made of. I love Slayer but Holt's one hell of a guitarist. Definitely underrated. I need to start an Exodus collection STAT.

Crushing! There isn't a single bad song on this disc. From the first, Raze, to the last, the title song, this just leaves you feeling like you got run over! Check out Tempo of the Damned, The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A, Exhibit B: The Human Condition and Let There Be Blood, which is re-recording of their debut album

Beautiful Brutality !! At its finest !! From the moment you press play to themoment the disc ends you are being assault in the best possible way ! Not tosound like a broken record, but Exodus is without a doubt one of the bestthrash/metal bands ever !! Disc after disc nothing but pure perfection. I havesaid it before and Ill say it again. I just recently discovered the musicalperfection of Exodus. I can only attribute my not hearing more about them andgetting into their music sooner is due to the fact that there was little word ofmouth and no to little air play on radio metalshop programs in my area of the country.Air play that they needed and that they should have recieved. Exodus definitely hasn't recievedthe credit and the respect that they deserve. I had to take a chance on this band and well.... WoWit was well worth it !! The established bands who have recieved critical reviewshave moved to the fore front on the thrash/metal scene. There is absolutely noreason why Exodus isnt one of the big 4. I believe there should be another "big4 "type concert and it could be called "THE OTHER BIG 4" Bands on the list couldbe: EXODUS, TESTEMENT, OVERKILL, DEATH ANGEL. Possiblly? Undecided as for now asto who exactly, but it really doesnt matter.. I have strayed from the subject.Bottom line is that Exodus has NEVER EVER strayed from their thrash roots. Itsstraight up thrash at its finest.

I just got the Exodus cd today and its awesome! As usual they kick ass! Now that ive gotten the cd, i've got the whole Exodus collection, and its well worth it!

from raze to purge the world is an overload of speed, insane solos (especially on deathamphetamine), raspy vocals and quite on-point drumming if you ask me. Modern thrash at its best

This is the 2008 re-release of the 2005 album and it is on Back On Black Records licensed from Nuclear Blast Records.The cover is a gatefold and is of the highest quality card and the artwork is stunning. This is a 180 gram double grey mottled vinyl offering and is beautifully put together. The sound production is flawless and makes for a pleasurable playback experience. If like me you grew up buying Thrash on vinyl, this release will take you back to those heady days where you would sit in front of you hi fi holding the lyric sheet as you listened intently to the awesome album on the deck in pure bliss. Anyone who collects vinyl will know that listening to a record is a very tactile experience, you have the large cover that has a wonderful smell and the warm feel of the record coming out of you speakers. In my humble opinion Back On Black records have lovingly reproduced this album for vinyl junkies to enjoy and it is a 10 out of 10 score. If you love exodus and vinyl you need to buy this album.
