Lucky BumsKids Ski Snow Pants, Reinforced Knees and Seat

I bought this on Feb 14th. My son has worn them a total of 3x and I noticed today it ripping. I tried to contact the seller and I got no response back. I would not recommend these at all!!!! Another con... The belly part is rough and has velcro so it cuts my sons belly. You have to tuck in a shirt to separate it from touching the belly area but that doesnt always stay in place when your kiddo is playing.

I'm not a junior but often shop in the junior section. And thought I'd have more luck with junior snow pants too. I'm 5'1" and 109lbs. After reading reviews I decided to order the Medium size. I got them and the fit was perfect - like how you'd want your jeans to fit. They were a little tight in the hips and if I unzipped the pockets they were perfect. The length hit right at the top of my foot and the quality of the pants looks great. But because I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable in these when I layered, I tried the next size up, a large. The large was WAY too big. It's like it jumped a size. The large drowns me and the medium fit kind of like a glove. I decided to keep the medium because the price was good, the quality was great and they looked really flattering for snow pants. But I'll probably only be able to wear yoga pants or thermals underneath -for sure not jeans.

On the positive, the pants look like they're a good quality. On the negative, they are ginormous! I bought a a Christmas gift, so I had an older daughter try them on. She is an adult medium. I had bought a youth xl for her younger sister. As you can see by the photo, they drowned her. They were literally like an adult Large at the smallest. So irritated! A week before Christmas and I've got to so them back.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the fit and comfort, and they're quite warm. But they're not very waterproof; after sitting on a ski lift a few times, where the seat had snow on it, the moisture seeped through, and by the end of a few hours of skiing, I was soaked. (Also, note that these run large. I'm a grown man, average height and waist, but the youth XL fits me with a bit of room to spare.)

Originally I was very impressed with these snow pants and thought they were nicer for my child than any ski pants I've ever owned; however, today he wore them for the 3rd time sledding and I noticed this frayed area by the seam on the side of the knee. This should not happen after just 4-5 hours of wear. I am disappointed in the quality. Hopefully it just happens to be this pair and doesn't happen happen to other people.

Overall happy with them as they were a last minute rushed purchase. Very sturdy and warm (though not waterproof if your kids like to just sit in the snow and bury themselves in it). But heed the warnings - they run SO big! It was fine as we just rolled up the legs and stuffed them into a boot, but definitely size down!

The size was larger than I expected. My son wears a size 12-14 in boys pants usually. I went off the sizing chart provided (he is 61" tall and weighs 105lbs) and I ordered the size large which were too big in the waist. We used a belt and they worked just fine (length was good) but if I had time before our trip to return them and reorder I would have gotten a size medium for him instead.

You get your money's worth if you buy this pants. The fabric material is of great value. It's warm to wear over your winter leggings.Only Cons is I ordered a large. The legs were sewed wide and the waist a bit snug. Size up
